echoes of change

Fall is here. It’s the perfect time to wrap your cardigan around you and, with a deep sigh, gaze into the distance. If you squint, you might find fragments of your past blurring somewhere on the horizon.

It needed to get cold before I started appreciating warmth. I know that, come winter, when my hands turn blue, I’ll crave the summer sun.

I turn longing into art. Confronting that mirror is my best practice.
