Where to Eat in Paris? The Best Places to Try Out

We made our way along the river
And we sat down in the grass by the Eiffel tower

Only we couldn’t do that due to rain, but there’s always next time. Nevertheless, we had fun, and now I’m here to give you a few recommendations for your next trip to Paris.

Nina’s Bagels and Salads

This one has our heart. I discovered it by accident, while making our itinerary and researching the best route. It’s a restaurant with a few locations in Paris, two of them close to Arc de Triomphe.

The first one we went to was in Avenue Kléber (going a bit to the left into the side street, so we almost missed it). We grabbed our bagels to-go (bagel Toscana is so good!), but there’s also space inside to sit down and enjoy your meal.

The next location we tried was a small walk from the Arc de Triomphe going north. It’s the cutest interior, with just enough space to sit down for a while. While waiting for our orders, they brought us some broccoli soup to try. It was the best pick-me-up, rich with taste, and just what we needed on a day that was a bit chilly. I highly recommend this place!

Café Concorde

The best finds are usually those you stumble upon by accident. That was the case with this cute, proper Parisian restaurant/café. We were looking for a place to grab a warm drink before visiting Museum d’Orsay.

Café Concorde has that renowned Parisian vibe with a red canopy and a closed-off patio where you can still enjoy sitting outside even if it rains. The waitress was very kind, our drinks were so tasty, and the whole ambiance was a chef’s kiss!

Brasserie de la Tour Eiffel

This restaurant is very close to the Eiffel Tower, but with no view of it, as it was on the opposite side of the street. We had no issue with this because we were too occupied with the deliciousness that was our food. I ordered some truffle pasta that was just perfect! Our waiter was the best, so funny and friendly and made our experience so much better.

Creperie Parisienne

We found this place on our way from Île de la Cité. Here, we grabbed some coffee and tried some macarons. They were really yummy. My favorite was the chocolate one. The place has nice decor, and it’s pretty spacious. It’s right across the street from those riverside stands on the north side of the Seine.

Panasia

Panasia was a place we found at Galeries Lafayette. We stopped by there to check out the rooftop and some stores and saw the bubble tea menu at Panasia. The bubble tea was delicious. I had a mango one, and my sisters tried the strawberry one. Right next to Panasia, there’s a store where you can find all the culinary goodies to take home as a gift or a souvenir. Don’t skip this place when you’re there!

Trattoria Dell’Angelo

This one might actually be an anti-recommendation. The place wasn’t so bad, but the food was a bit dry and tasteless, and it’s on the pricier side. The vibe was also kind of off. It was a 3/5.

Monoprix/Franprix

Okay, these might not be a fancy restaurant for you to visit, but if you’re traveling on a budget or want to get some snacks for your picnic under the Eiffel Tower, these two chain stores that are all over Paris will be your best friend. They have everything you need, so I have to recommend them.
