a very casual day in fall

You must be on the edge of your seat, waiting to know how I spent my day! Well, alright, I’ll tell you!

It’s sweater weather already, so I pulled out my long sleeves and all the blankets. Coffee intake is at max, and my seasonal music playlist is on.

We found some old postcards that my father’s family exchanged in the 60s.

In elementary school, we had to keep a herbarium. I loved that, being my grandma’s daughter, but they did make us look for plants that were probably extinct or something, because I’ve never heard of them/we couldn’t find them. And in the dead of winter?

Anyway, I still keep a herbarium of sorts. As in, I make my books a makeshift herbarium. And yes, I underline my books, dog-ear my books, and keep them in a pile on my floor.

I also visited this one home goods warehouse store with the most gorgeous kitchenware. I could spend hours there, or better yet, just let me stay – I’d have everything I need.

Doesn’t go without a good snack (but make it fancy for my new plate). Actually, this plate would be best for all the soups I plan to make for fall.

While we’re at snacks, I made some chocolate chip scones (cut the dark chocolate into big chunks). I don’t have any reference for scones, so if you ask me, they look good. Tasted even better. My godmother loved it! Next time, I’ll try blueberry or apple.

it’s a scones/cookies situation

I applied for my driving exam. We’ll skip that part. Forget that I ever said it, because your girl is blind and can’t drive.

That’s all! My room’s a mess (perpetual state), so I should get on that.

Okay, thanks, bye!
